I’ve exercised and been aware of fitness most of my life, Aerobics, Yoga, Zumba, etc. Like most of us, I reached a plateau, physically and mentally. Deepa Vaswani upped the game for me. She is determined without causing fatigue, and pushes you to believe in your strength. Giving up is not an option. Yet she is gentle if the fatigue overpowers. Deepa understands core and the work needed to harness our own dexterity, and her words of encouragement are wonderfully uplifting! Slowly and steadily, I see my energy increasing and power in the exercises, and I prepare my body for the coming years! Thank you Deepa!
It has been my absolute pleasure to train with Deepa for the last one year. Coming from a history of back pain, I can see how my body has transformed, my muscular strength and endurance has increased. Deepa has a very keen eye, observing every minute detail, understanding the needs of every client and with her knowledge and expertise drives you to be stronger and motivated in every session. She is a through professional, highly energetic and very well trained and I would recommend everyone to try at least a couple of sessions with her and see the difference.
I started training with Deepa in 2018. At that point of time, I was suffering from a frozen shoulder and had fluctuating sugar levels. I had never trained before and was absolutely clueless about it. My daughter Radhika who was already training with Deepa insisted that I start training with her. Though a little skeptical about it, I decided to give it a try. The first few days made me realise that I had very poor stamina! But Deepa charted out an exercise plan for me which took care of my specific needs; mainly my sugar levels had to go down, my shoulder had to be taken care of and the excess fat on my tummy had to be tackled. Deepa has been very patient and encouraging. There were times when I couldn't do much because of the excruciating pain due to my frozen shoulder but she would see to it that Ido some exercises which would bring me relief! Slowly but surely I could see the improvement in myself. My shoulder got better, my sugar levels stabilised, my posture and energy level also improved! I looked better and felt better! I am a 10m Air Pistol shooter and a 3-time winner of the prestigious British Open Airgun Championships trophy (2013, 2019 and 2020). I started training online with Deepa in March 2020. She devised a tailor-made fitness regime comprising of functional, strength and injury rehab training (for chronic pain-muscle tightness), in addition to Pilates and Yoga. In less than 6 weeks I am much stronger and there has been a palpable decline in chronic pain issues and an increase in my stamina. Deepa has a deep knowledge of body physiology, which I believe helps her devise tailor-made fitness programs. She also devised a nutritional program for me which is neither restrictive the way most diets are and is helping me address my erratic eating patterns. I can even follow her diet program in the UK, where I live. In all, Deepa is the best fitness and nutrition coach one could hope for and I truly enjoy our fitness sessions.
I’ve been training with Deepa for 3 months now. Throughout she has been a source of constant motivation. It’s not just about the workout but also after when she always puts in that extra effort to ensure I’m doing well. I first worked out with her when I used to attend her Functional Fitness batches at the gym. From that time, I always knew I wanted to work out with her. When we first spoke, she told me a very simple theory about the human body and fitness. It’s not about the kilos. It’s about what those kilos are made up of - fat or muscle. This small teaching went a long way for me and actually changed the way I started looking at losing weight. It’s about becoming healthier and fitter, which is something she has taught me. Over time, she has also been patiently catering to my queries and explained the why’s and how’s of fitness. Today, I feel a whole lot better about my health and I continue to work at getting better. I used to weight train at my local gym and I thought the trainers there were training me to my full potential. Randomly one day my sister tells me about Deepa giving her a diet and said she wanted me to meet her too. At first I was sceptical because I already used to squat with 40 kgs. Deepa examined my form and told me what I was doing wrong and what impact it had on my current muscle development and how it would affect me later on in life if I continued. I also found out that my range was incomplete and because of that I wasn't using all the muscles that are basically supposed to be used while performing a proper squat. After I implemented all the changes Deepa suggested I did find better results. At first it was hard because I had to use literally half the weight I was using which was frustrating and I had to break a habit that was taught to me for over 4-5 months but after I got used to the new form and diet in another 3-4 months including the one month of form correction I managed to hit 90 kgs on the squat rack. I've had an amazing experience going to the gym and progressing ever since I've been taking guidance from her.
Being a fan of cross functional training, I went on that trial day to do my training and Deepa was the trainer. I was amazed with her strength and the way she was training us. She was gazing at everybody and making sure nothing was going wrong. I had planned to rip down myself and get a chiseled look and I knew that I need to hire a nutritionist before doing this heavy changeover. Luckily I came to know Deepa was a superb nutritionist. I took an appointment with her and the first meeting with her, I knew she was different. Deepa explained me why she was giving this diet, why I should take more proteins than carbs. How to manage the diet and how to eat effectively and precisely. The way she explained shows her strengths and skills. Deepa said I wont give you the diet plan unless you start working out but she was not forcing me to join me there. To be specific, she said you can join anywhere and need not be in this gym. I kept pondering that I may die if i follow the diet Deepa suggested but Deepa assured me and kept on checking with me every day how I felt, any changes are needed. I am surprised, generally people take money and give you a diet plan but she followed me until I was comfortable with the diet. She was always there to answer my silly stupid queries. I had started working out sincerely with her diet plan. I never skipped the gym workout nor the diet plans. Within a couple of weeks I was thrilled and I knew that I was dropping down my weight, but it was very effective. I still have a long way to achieve the goal I put forward to Deepa but I am sure she will make me to reach. I recommend Deepa for anyone who wants to transform themselves. She is thorough professional, straight on face, disciplined and most important she has concern towards the clients.
Deepa is an amazing person and also wonderful trainer.. I started my workout with her and within a month I could see the results.. her knowledge is something incredible about this fitness & nutrition.. I just love my training with her, she encourages you and pushes you hard to give your best.. she works on your weakness and makes sure you be best at it.. thank you Deepa you are amazing.
Superb functional batch!! I have been going to the gym since March 2017 for a functional batch. In mid April Deepa took over the 6pm batch. Since then I have started loving my workouts even more. She made the batch more fun by introducing new exercises and also new variations in the same. 1 hour use to pass by really fast!! I loved the way she encouraged each and everyone in the class to push themselves to another level. I went from doing half push-ups to full push-ups in her batch!! That was a great achievement for me. I also toned myself which everyone around me too noticed!! Thanks Deepa for the wonderful batch you take for us!! I strongly recommend her for all those who want to get fit with some good fun!!
I have been training under Deepa for past couple of months and it was an amazing experience. I have never loved working out as much as I have in past couple of months. She is really enthusiastic and motivating. Her workout plans are simply awesome. She has new surprises planned everyday, which won't let workouts become boring and instead are fun and challenging and make you not wanting to miss the gym even for a day. With her motivations, I have started lifting so much heavier weights than I could imagine, my forms for each exercises are near perfect and the number of reps and sets keep increasing each day. Her training is filled with intensity and energy. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to training and nutrition. I will really recommend her as your trainer if you want to see some real results and achieve your fitness goals. I lost 6kgs in past 2 months.
